We are Orani Suhay,

"I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy."

- Rabindranath Tagore

David M. Consunji believed that the people of Orani need just one opportunity to rise up against life’s hardships and be able to pass on good deeds to the community. With his desire to give back, the Orani Suhay Foundation was born. It is committed in empowering the people of Orani and neighboring towns to help improve their lives through strategic scholarships and livelihood programs. More

Suhay Scholarship continues to provide the necessary aid for graduating college students to complete their education. To date, over 100 Suhay Scholars proudly earned their college diplomas and board certifications. They have now made a difference in their families’ lives being gainfully employed at DMCI.

SSUWAK provides livelihood programs for the less fortunate people of Orani and neighboring towns. Artisans and talented handicraft volunteers create stellar decor pieces using Capiz shells as main material. SSUWAK’s creations adorn many abodes and have exhibited in multiple trade fairs.

Empowering Indigents to find work and dignity

Christmas lanterns made of Capiz are one of the handicrafts products of SSUWAK Livelihood program.
The lanterns are patiently handmade by talented artisans showcased in various trade fairs and currently adorn many enclaves.
